1. Introduction
I still remember the first time my friend Sooji invited me over for homemade momo. He proudly said, “Come early—and bring your appetite. You’ll be helping make them too!” I thought it would be a simple dinner… but we ended up making hundreds of dumplings together.
Momo is one of the most loved dishes from Nepal. It is similar to dumplings from China or Japan, but what makes momo special is its flavorful, spiced filling. It’s juicy, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying. This recipe is special because it’s authentic, fun to make, and perfect for sharing with friends and family.
